Brixham
Heritage Museum QUIZ
There are 8
simple questions to be answered, and the quiz sheets can
be obtained from Brixham Tourist Information, Berry Head
Visitor Centre, the Brixham Library and the Museum. The
quiz is open to all age groups and the entrant has to
find out information that is visible a) at the Museum,
b) at the William of Orange Statue, c) at the Breakwater,
and d) at Berry Head Country Park. Completed quiz sheets
should be returned to the Museum, and there is a prize
draw for the winning entries. The first prize is £50,
2nd prize is £25, and there are 5 runners-up of
£5 each. The closing date for entries is
Sat. 6th Sept. and the Prize Draw will take place
on 8th September in the Museum.
The Museum would
like to say 'thank you' to its sponsors for donating the

Of Heroes
This
is a 45 minute fantasy drama for all the family, by
Brixham-based fantasy theatre group Realm
Of Heroes. “This is just like Dungeons And Dragons
but live on stage”. Brixham Royal British Legion
Club, Bakers Hill (off St Mary's Square).

is a charity show in aid of the Royal

Island Club, situated in the Baptist Church
Hall, by Brixham's bus station and taxi rank, is now open
on Friday evenings
6.15 - 7.15pm
for children (school year's 3-6) and 7.30pm
- 9pm for youth, with further possibilities
being considered for the future. It costs just 50p for
children and £1 for youth with everything inside
then free (except the tuck of course)! With the club set
to attract large numbers, young people are encouraged

The Shoal of
Brixham Artists is a group of artisans, including painters,
photographers, jewellery creators and crafts people.
They have, throughout
the winter months, been designing and creating their own
works, and to show some of their latest creations.

Craft Market returns to the Quayside underneath the Old
Fish Market on Saturdays, between 9am-5pm,
