BRIXHAM YOUTH RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB FUN DAY AND COW PAT RAFFLE

On Saturday 9th August Brixham Youth RFC will be holding a Fun day in aid of
there £20,000 Floodlight appeal.

BRIXHAM YOUTH RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB FUN DAY AND COW PAT RAFFLE

As part of the day they will be holding a rather unique raffle. This will be
in the form of a cow pat raffle where the rugby pitch will be marked out
into squares. The tickets which are currently being sold will match those
squares and then at 3pm the cow will be allowed onto the pitch. The winner
of the £2000 first prize will be decided when the cow deposits in any one of
the squares. The grid reference will be taken and then matched with the
winning ticket.

The Cow has kindly been loaned by Mr Howlett of Woodhuish Farm near
Kingswear. All the necessary paperwork and licenses have been obtained to
allow for the movement of livestock.

During that day we will also be holding a Family Fun Day starting with a Tag
Rugby competition (open to all ages) plus stalls, rides, BBQ, Competitions
and live entertainment. The event starts at 11am, with the raffle from 3pm
and the live music at 6pm. Tickets are available from the rugby club bar or
from a committee member.

This is a busy week for Brixham Youth Rugby as they are also holding there
annual Rugby Week from the 4th - 7th August. This is open to children aged
7 - 14 and run by qualified coaches. For further details visit
