The game started with Brixham taking the attack to the big Torquay pack and after several phases and resolute defence from the home side a breakthrough came with winger Will Passmore breaking through the defence with power, something he was to repeat several times during the game. Brixham had by now discovered that the game was going to be won out wide and adjusted the game plan to draw in the players then put pace and power into action to move further ahead with tries from Matt Cripps and Jason Capaldi , both through the backline, two conversions from Brad McKee took the scoreline to Torquay 0-19 Brixham at the break.
Brixham brought the full bench on at halftime and again took full control of the fixture with a further six tries in the half, a brace for Ben Mortimer who covered a massive amount of the pitch on the day, a stunning run from deep for prop Dylan Griffiths and similar for Capaldi as he also scored his second. The further two scores were from pace man Passmore as he completed his hatrick on the day. McKee kicked a further five conversions to increase the lead on the day.
A great all-round performance from Brixham today and using the full squad to complete a great days rugby, and continue winning ways.
