IACF launch campaign to collect true stories from Torbay locals culminating in the event “Stories Live!” at Palace Theatre, Paignton on 23rd March 2018.
We all have a story to tell, and everyone loves to hear a good yarn! We’ve been storytelling since the beginning of time – it’s a big part of what makes us human. But so many go untold, locked away in our memories. Until now…
We are looking to compile as many of these real life experiences from Torbay residents as possible… including yours!
Young or old, native or “blow in”, electrician or lawyer; from heart-warming, life-changing moments to hilarious happenings near and far – we want to hear your great tales as we compile a record of memories and everyday lives from as diverse a section of the population as possible.
The best ones will be put up on our video channel on this website for all to enjoy, with a select few chosen to be told live at the event in March.
To tell your story now, simply go to www.cometellmehowyoulive.org and upload text, video or audio of your story and be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes (including free Vue Cinema tickets, Cocktails at The Lion’s Monocle) and more tbc) for the audience’s favourite tale!
