On Tuesday 26th September at approx. 1.30pm Ellie Roberts will be having her head shaved, to boost the funds that she is hoping to raise, to help towards buying essential equipment for the residents at our local Douglas House here in Brixham.
Ellie will be accompanied by her Lurcher Dog named Buddy who, as a qualified ‘Pets as Therapy Dog,’ spends a lot of time with her there visiting and making the residents day a bit more special!
Ellie said, ” I am shaving my head for Douglas House, for Leonard Cheshire Disability, because it’s a fantastic local charity!”
With a ‘Just Giving’ page on the internet, anyone can make a donation, no matter how large, or small and Ellie would be very grateful for any help received. Ellie’s much discussed hair will be shaved off at Douglas House, where residents, friends & Buddy will be there to support her!
Douglas House is a fantastic place that really makes a difference to the lives of disabled people in Brixham. Leonard Cheshire Disability works for a society in which every person is equally valued. They believe disabled people should have the freedom to live their lives the way they choose, whilst having the opportunity and support to live independently, in order to contribute and participate fully in society. For almost 70 years, they have supported disabled people in the UK and overseas in many different ways.
Your money will go to support Douglas House and the purchase of new equipment for the residents.Follow
