Not only are we basking in the glory of Lee Westwood securing 2nd place at The Masters but the Lee Westwood Golf School is also celebrating some of the student’s recent fantastic achievements.
To name but a few; at the Stoke by Nayland Junior Open, second year student Chris Chaplin claimed victory in the net category with an overall score of 141 after 2 rounds, Shay McQueen won net prize on the Constable course with an outstanding score of 68 and Lewis Gott in his first round on the Gainsborough gained the lowest gross score of 75 (69 net).
Callum Pipe had a busy Easter break winning the Single U18 Boys Essex v Hertfordshire, the Essex Colts team v The Pro’s foursomes and both the foursomes and singles Colts match against Romford Golf Club.
Past and present student brothers, Jacques and Felix Godfrey competed in the Foursomes Club Championships at Chantilly Golf Club and won 3/2 against 2 scratch handicap golfers.
Nick Homewood, first year student made his first Eagle, holing out from 80 yards, and also broke his first round of 80 carding +7 (77).Follow
