My name is Per O.Larsen
from Porsgrunn, Norway and I am commercial Skipper that is owner
of a Brixham smack build in 1887 in Brixham area it is 63.7feet

The original name IRIS BM 6 (DH 234) build by Samuel Dewdney
and sons for a Samuel Elliot and a have hoped that somebody, maybe
family or other related persons you could help put me in contact
with. |

I have
a lot of documents and I have been in contact with Brixham Heritage
Museum and we can find some info there. But I have hoped fore
more.
Can you help me get
in contact with some one or maybe a journalist from a local
news paper! |
NB Iris
is still on water totally stripped and ready for restoration.
I also was in contact with Mike Ticehurst, Mobilnr, Norway,
909 77 440.
I have been told that
this is the oldest smack cutter in the world from this area.
