Argentinean Tango

Tara & Fernando are a young friendly dynamic couple who teach Argentinean Tango a very social dance and a much more improvisatory form of dance to the flashy, structured ballroom tango you may be used to seeing on Strictly Come Dancing. Both are experts in the field and together they have toured Europe teaching in many different countries, along side teaching all over England (which they continue to do).

Fer and Tara

Although now they have decided to settle down and focus on developing the tango scene around Devon they still manage to do some work abroad. In their classes they use exercise to encourage improvisation from an early stage as well showing short sequences of steps to grasp a concept.

They provide to the students tools to understand the principles that govern each movement. They create exercises that enable to them to experience something first, and then reflect on it. All this surrounded by a young, friendly and fun learning environment.

This dance is for everyone, people who have danced before and people who believe they have two left feet (it has been proven !!)also for any ages.
We run monthly dances (milongas) where people come from all over England to join in the warm friendly welcoming atmosphere to laugh, chat and have fun dancing.

They run weekly classes in Torquay, Exeter and Plymouth as well as running Tango Holidays and Weekends full of Tango. In Oct they are running a Big Tango Feast at the beautiful Oldway Mansion in Paignton.
