As a member of quite a few disused railway groups (on Facebook), Vic Jones found he had a great interest in photos of Brixham Station.
Brixham Station was opened 27th of May 1868 by Torbay and Brixham Railway and closed in 13th May 1963. British Railways (Western Region) was the company at the time of closure and the station was knocked down, although the bridge still remains across Station Road. As a result of Vic’s fascination with the former Brixham Station, he has created a simulation video featuring the branch line coming into the town of Brixham, by using old photographs and O/survey maps! He hopes that it might be of interest to readers.
To see the simulation video it is on Youtube at the moment: https://youtu.be/hHW2EhBESx8Follow
