The Fishstock Team continue putting together a great line-up of live music and fresh food offers for this year’s festival which returns to Brixham’s New Fish Quay on SATURDAY 9th SEPTEMBER. Music acts already confirmed for the Coombe Fisheries Main Stage are headliners 3BF, Luna Blue, Duke Johnson & The Scorchers, Departed and Rage. The FalFish Accoustic Stage will be graced by Southern Comfort, Maggie Duffy and Bob Thomson, Rio, Leighe J Hall, and Devon Bird – a fabulous mix so far, and more to come!
Amendments to the layout for this year’s festival will see the accoustic stage indoors (with delicious drinks and refreshments close to hand) whilst the main stage (although still under cover) will be opened out to allow music lovers to fully appreciate the bands in a traditional festival atmosphere.

The Festival is now in its 10th year of fundraising for The Fishermens’ Mission. Area Superintendent John Anderson reports that the workload has continued unabated over the last month, and involved working with the further reaches of the territory covered by the Brixham office, equipping staff and running Port Officers’ appraisals. Various welfare situations were also handled, with the Mission utilising different agencies within the maritime sector. Looking ahead to this summer, a replacement will be sought for the post in Brixham – this will be a challenging time, but John is confident the right person will be found.
Tickets for the first of two additional summer events for 2017 (designed to boost festival funds handed to the Mission) are now ON SALE: the Fishstock Team invite you to join us for a Fish Supper on WEDNESDAY 10th MAY with a scrumptious 3 course set menu at the stunning Rockfish Brixham restaurant, overlooking the harbour.
