Santa in his very own Ice Kingdom!

This year Santa is doing his pre-Christmas visit to Brixham and is staying for five days at the Ice Kingdom Grotto created for him at the YES- Youth Enquiry Service building on New Road next door to the Theatre!

The YES Young Volunteers
Santa with an angel and a fairy
From the 18th to 22nd December friendly elves, reindeer, angles and fairies, are waiting to greet visiting families, offering sweets, mince pies and mulled wine, (for the grownups) whilst waiting to see Santa in the beautiful Ice Kingdom.

The whole white icy setting for Santa comes complete with glitter ball, as he sits in his sleigh to chat to children about their Christmas wishes. The Ice Kingdom was created by Jeff Miall and Ross Lomas, YES staff and Brixham Young Volunteers. The Young Volunteers also helped raise funding for the small gifts Santa hands out to each visiting child, after spending a session at Sainsburys bag backing.

The Grotto opens on Saturday 18th, then Sunday 19th, Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd December with opening times 11am to 4pm.

Santa, thanks to the help of Chris Lomas, Andrew Wade, John Coysh and Steve Leech, is very keen to meet local children and on the first day over 100 people in spite the snowy and icy conditions outside, came to the Ice Kingdom.
