In its eighth year, the tournament begun by Jack Daniels to remember friend Pete Cole, who died in 2002, attracted over 50 entrants , with competitors competing in the knockout rounds starting at 7pm and going on till 1o'clock in the morning.

The Pete Cole Cup went to the eventual overall winner for 2010, Simon Webb with prize money of £100, with runner up John Tutton receiving £50 and also winning Alan Castle Cup, which commemorates Jacks other keen darts playing friend who died in 2006, after achieving the highest check out score of the evening.

The tournament is a charity event which also aims to make local organisations in Brixham benefit from the monies raised on the night from entrance fees and donations. Each year the former wives of Pete and Alan select local charities to donate the monies raised to but this year Wendy and Julie agreed that the £470 should all go to F.I.S.H.

The charity is working to raise funds for the memorial sculpture to fishermen to be cast and placed in Brixham and recently the F.I.S.H. calendar went on sale to help reach the £150,000 required to see the project realised.

Chairman of F.I.S.H. Miriam Pymm accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity and further information can be found on Facebook at Fishstorm.

Jack said,” I have so many people to thank for helping to make the evening such a success and thanks to all those who donated on the night.” Thanks went to those who helped on the night including Neil Little, Del Hodson,Tim Clyburn, Graham Dryer and Ray Mitchell for loaning extra dartboards. Special thanks also went to Martin Breyley, Robin Love of Harmony Profiles Ltd, Mark Criddle for supplying the tankards, Brixham Jewellers for engraving them for free and finally the Sea Anglers Club for providing the venue.
