MAN ON 7,000-MILE TREK AROUND THE COAST OF MAINLAND BRITAIN ARRIVES IN Brixham

Nat Severs, a 23-year-old Zoology graduate from Portsmouth, is currently walking around the entire coastline of mainland Britain and he arrives in Brixham tomorrow (25th Jan). Nat is raising money for the Stroke Association, the Mammal Society and Southampton General Hospital's Paediatric Physiotherapy department.

Nats Big Walk

The 7,000 mile journey covers every inch of coast and will take around 340 days to complete. He set out from Portsmouth on 10 January. Accompanied only by a large rucksack carrying his tent and kit, Nat will be camping most nights and is hoping to raise at least £1,000 each for the three charities.

The entire journey will be completed using his own leg power (so no ferry journeys or bus rides) and if there is a bridge, he will be crossing it (so Anglesey and the Isle of Skye will both be on the agenda).

Nat says: “I am really looking forward to walking through Brixham and seeing what it has to offer. I am told it is one of Britain's best seaside resorts and will be armed with my camera ready to capture it. If you see me, feel free to come and say hello!”

“I had the idea for the walk a few years ago and I have now reached a point in my life where I can make it a reality. Britain boasts some of the best coastline in the world and it is a privilege to be able to walk along it each day.
