Brixham Christmas Carnival

With 20 floats and approximately 350 people joining the procession, the Brixham Carnival left the harbour and succeeded to parade around the town centre twice, after a heavy down pour threatened to curtail the festive fun on Saturday December 4th. Fortunately just after 4.30 pm the rain stopped and the Carnival got underway!

With many individuals keen to dress up as costumed characters, members of the Brixham Young Volunteers became gingerbread men, a hedgehog and Supermen, after being super helpful throughout the day! They helped to put up marquees for the evening party, which was enjoyed by those taking part as they returned to Oxen Cove, after the procession.
