provides a great bookstart for Torbay youngsters
Brixham will be going
nursery rhyme crazy this week to celebrate National Bookstart
Day with local youngsters.
Torbay Council's Library
Service will be celebrating National Bookstart Day (Friday
9th October) with a nursery rhyme-themed event, at
Furzeham Children's Centre, Brixham.

anniversary of the death of Charles Blackmore. Charles, a Brixham
lad spent much of his life as the caretaker of Furzeham Primary

Fete
The annual Furzeham
Primary School Fete was held on Friday June 20th this year.
Head Teacher Andrew Kinder and those involved in the preparations
were forced to make last minute adjustments, to ensure the afternoon
events went smoothly, as the changeable weather focussed activities
indoors!
