Students from Churston Ferrers Grammar School have recently returned from China following a 10 day cultural tour which took in the sights, sounds and smells of Shanghai, Xi'an and Beijing.

Churston Ferrers Students take on tasks inspired by The Apprentice

Students were given four lessons to either re-brand an existing product, or develop their own new product. This task was inspired by the apprentice and students had to create a scale drawing of their packaging, build a model of the packaging, record and edit a TV advert, lasting exactly 30 seconds, record a radio jingle, lasting no more than 20 seconds and price the product based on market research and customer surveys.

15 year old Sam from Churston Ferrers Grammar School entered a local photography competition in Dartmouth hosted by Gallery Coast, the ‘Love the Coast Young Photographers Competition', which was run from February to April this year, inviting inspired young local photographers to submit entries related to their personal perspective of coastal living.
