Scaled Down ! Sarah Lucy Baker Exhibition.

The Slack Stevenson Gallery have discovered new artistic talent, Sarah Lucy Baker and are delighted to show Brixham her latest paintings.

Sarah graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2009, where she specialised in Scenery Painting. Sarah is, therefore, perfectly happy to paint on an enormous scale for theatre back cloths and scenery flats, as well as imagery sized to fit in one's house!

Originally from Devon, Sarah's aim, using photographed memories of childhood haunts as a stimulus, is to capture, in paint, fleeting moments in nature that awake and fire the imagination. Her paintings are wonderfully fluid and beautifully ethereal.

Sarah Lucy Baker's exhibition at The Slack Stevenson Gallery, 34a, Middle Street, Brixham runs from 16th May to 13th June 2010.
