Inspirational
Tutor Awards at Brixham
Six
Brixham Adult & Community Learning tutors were nominated
as Inspirational and Outstanding by their students as part
of Adult Learner's week.

They
are – Tessa Amies (Pottery and Crafts), Katie Babbs (Gardening
and Skills for Life), Mick Stokes (Music), Gail Tucker ( Working
with Children, Volunteering and Skills for Life), Kate Jackson
(Belly Dancing) and Marta Killey (Art). |
Each
individual has been responsible for changing the lives of the
people they teach, opening up new horizons and helping them
reach their full potential.
Brixham College Principal, Mark Eager presented them with their
awards and a book token. He commented on their ability to make
learning fun and their friendly, patient approach which encourages
students to want to learn. Also how their enthusiastic about
for their subject rubs off onto the learners.
