On Wednesdays
Vivienne Turner will be creating a large willow
work fish for Teignmouth seafront by making willow panels
and then weaving waste plastics into the form. This starts
on June 3rd 1-3pm .
On
Fridays Petra Turner will be creating seagulls made from wire
coat hangers and plastic bottles filled with the stuff they
scavenge using textile techniques. Set in the flowerbeds they
will be eye-catching. It commences June 5th 10-12
noon.
ACE
will also be planning summer holiday activities and a new
pottery course aimed at people with mental health problems,
called No Pressure Pottery. All this has been funded by
South West Foundation, Learning Curve and the Learning and
Skills Council to enable people to develop employable skills
in the arts.
