Churston
Sax at Fermoys
The Churston Saxes have
been out entertaining shoppers at Fermoys Garden Centre. They
played Christmas Carols on two afternoons, 4th and 11th December,
and the shop manager was delighted with their sound which filled
the indoor area of the centre. |

They were paid a fee,
and made a collection, and as a result have been able to donate
£20 to Guide Dogs for the Blind, and £20 to Churston
6th form building project. They will also be able to buy themselves
some new music to play during the rest of the year.
The students involved
were: Stefan, Luca, Holly, Freddie and Katherine.

The saxes meet on Monday
lunchtimes in the music department, and are happy to welcome
new players of grade 4 standard and above.
