Churston Cove and Fishcombe Coves
Churston Cove offers a secluded and sandy beach with facilities on adjoining Fishcombe Cove with snack bar and toilets. Car parking around the Brixham Battery Gardens with a fairly steep walk down to both areas and the beach is dog friendly all year. The inlet to the coves are often used to moor boats and a grey seal often appears here to take a look at the activities going on.
This is a popular family beach and is located close to the town centre with many facilities including a car park and cafe. Torbay Council have lifeguards in high season and also a deck chair hut. Their are plenty of rock pools to explore as the tide goes out.
There are many rock pools to explore and interesting creatures to find walking around from Breakwater Beach to Shoalstone Pool. The sea here is often calm and clear and great for snorkelling and scuba diving.
