Wintershall
Nativity and Life of Christ
Having celebrated the
Nativity in brixham as part of the Brixham Christmas Parade
it was interesting to find out the Wintershall estate in Surrey
produces a Nativity every year. |
|
| “This wonderful production takes place both inside
and around Holly Barn at Wintershall, complete with shepherds
and sheep, oxen, donkeys and the three wise men on horseback.
It is the true story of the birth of our dear Lord Jesus and brings
to life the real meaning of Christmas, helping all of us escape
the turmoil of its present day commercialism and missing spirituality.”

This
year's Wintershall Nativity, which we have just discovered is
now fully booked, runs from Wednesday 17th to Sunday
21st December 2008! However it is still worth checking
out the website www.wintershall-estate.com
if you want to experience the ‘Life of Christ' as their
amazing day long production of the major events of Jesus as
described in the Gospels will be running in June. It is also
very popular (up to 3000 people a day) and needs booking early
in 2009 to avoid disappointment!
The estate says “The
support and enthusiasm of our audiences have encouraged us to
continue to perform The Life of Christ six times again
next year from Tuesday 23rd June to Sunday 28th June
2009.Changes in the play will be continued in both the script
and settings. It is the same wonderful story of Jesus and includes
more of his miraculous signs, teaching and message. The performances
will start at 10am and finish at 4pm.”
