Whilst Saturday night saw the Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir sing a varied programme enjoyed by the many people, who joined members of the Brixham Salvation Army, Sunday was a day of Praise and Worship with many people joining the Corps including the Mayor of Torbay.

Cutting the 125th Anniversary Cake Sunday worship, both morning and afternoon, was led by Divisional Leaders -Majors Cliff and Jean Bradbury.  Brixham was Major Cliff Bradbury's first appointment following his training as a Salvation Army Officer, and he was joined after their marriage the following year by Jean.
Salvation Army 125th Anniversary Cake Captain Lynne Davis, the current Corps Officer said,'We were joined for morning worship by Councillor Nick Bye, Mayor of Torbay; Commander Nick Toomey from the Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth; and Brian, Owen and Becca representing the local Army Cadets.  Councillor Bye told us that he had a family connection with the Salvation Army in Brixham.”

Following morning worship many people joined the Corps for a buffet lunch.

Then in the afternoon a Praise Party was held with representatives from The Salvation Army in Paignton and Torquay; local clergy and members of Brixham churches; as well as seven former Corps Officers of Brixham Corps. Afterwards many joined for refreshments and during the day the Anniversary cake was cut.

Captain Lynne Davis, the current Corps Officer, said "It was a joy to welcome so many people who joined us to celebrate 125 years of The Salvation Army in Brixham.  We now move forward into the future, knowing that God will show us how to develop our work among the community in the 21st century.  And we extend a warm welcome to join us in our Sunday worship at our hall on Bolton Street".
