Torbay Home Based Carers Break service; part of the charity Leonard Cheshire Disability provide home care services to both the carer and the service user, giving them both the chance to socialise and have some independence in their lives.  

We are currently looking for occasional hours staff to be available for weekday and weekend work on a shift basis which can vary from 2 hours to a full day.  You will be assisting service users with shopping, visiting places of interest, or keeping individuals company whilst their main carer is not there. As we are based across Torbay and South Devon, being able to drive is an advantage but is not essential.
