in his very own Ice Kingdom!
This year Santa is
doing his pre-Christmas visit to Brixham and is staying for
five days at the Ice Kingdom Grotto created for him at the YES-
Youth Enquiry Service building on New Road next door to the
Theatre!

Brixham Christmas
Carnival
With 20 floats and
approximately 350 people joining the procession, the Brixham
Carnival left the harbour and succeeded to parade around the
town centre twice, after a heavy down pour threatened to curtail
the festive fun on Saturday December 4th. Fortunately just
after 4.30 pm the rain stopped and the Carnival got underway!

The Galmpton
and Churston Women's Institute took up the challenge set by
the National Federation to complete a triathlon to improve their
fitness and general well being. - as a group we had to walk
50 miles, swim 5 miles and cycle 20 miles!

Lifeboat
Tea packs highlight lifesaving work of RNLI lifeboat crews in
south west
RNLI Torbay Lifeboat
Coxswain Mark Criddle has been chosen to represent the RNLI
and highlight the work of the charity's lifeboat crew on thousands
of packs of Lifeboat Tea , which are now on sale in branches
of Waitrose, Asda and Tesco across the UK.

Review of Brixham's
Fishstock 2010
The rain stopped,
the skies cleared, the sun shone and Fishstock Brixham 2010
opened its gates on Saturday 11th September to an appreciative
crowd of several thousand seafood and music lovers. They were
all showing their support for the fishing and seafood community
of Brixham, the jewel in the crown of Torbay.
